..WHOOP!

Having taught this material to literally hundreds of practitioners all over the world over the last several years, I’m really proud of this on-line format which was only released this year, and has now seen more than 70 practitioners complete the programme and start to change their practice. But don’t take it from me.

Here is what some of them have to say…

Jaime Robinson

Osteopath

Northumberland

“Behavioural change is what we are all trying to achieve with our patients, whether it’s getting them to engage with an exercise programme or to re-conceptualise their idea of what is wrong with them.

This course helped me to understand the concepts of how to elicit change and provided me with tools such as goal setting, motivational interviewing and nudge theory that have made my conversations with patients more structured and more targeted to their individual needs.

Highly recommended to any musculoskeletal therapist, a well paced course with a knowledgeable, responsive tutor”

“I chose Serena’s psychology course because our communication skills are continually affect us and there is an increased awareness of this. My experience also increases my desire to improve the results I have. This course is full of information that is useful. The outline is clear and from the start my interest was held. The first session on goals and getting to the right one is slightly different from pervious goal setting instructions I have heard about. She has tips on how to draw out better ones by specifically digging into the client’s “why” for wanting to do something.

Serena highlights common mistakes and guides you easily with lots of evidence to back everything with each webinar growing on the previous one. The course includes areas on motivational interviewing techniques, being an effective leader and how our words are taken on board by our clients. Serena is engaging and encouraging and very knowledgeable. She clearly loves her area of expertise and teaches this with confidence. I would recommend anyone interested in improving their history taking interviewing skills to join one of these courses”.

Bethan Miles

Business Mentor &
Coach

https://bethanmiles.com

“As an experienced coach in a number of settings, more formally as a business advisor/mentor and over 20+ years in leadership roles, I have been able to effectively support people, at times, through behaviour change.  However, what was often frustrating is that I was so aware that sometimes my approach worked, but on other occasions I was left scratching my head with what I could have done differently.  This was my starting point.

What the foundation course did was to:

(1) help me understand why things have and haven’t worked in the past and

(2) provide the practical tools to approach how I look at and support people through behaviour change consistently and confidently moving forward.

I know that at times it will not always be possible to help people as much I would like, recognising boundaries, but I love now having new knowledge and a bank of resources to use and refer back to. The blend of live and stored online content, with the ability to watch back the presentations anytime is excellent.

The course is definitely for anyone new or experienced in working with clients to create change in their life or business.  I was astounded by the amount of knowledge expertly shared during the few weeks, which included extra content for reflection and learning between the sessions. Thanks to Serena for generously sharing her expertise and time to focus on such an important aspect of helping others to achieve their desired outcomes”
